Classes started on September 20th and 21st, 2016. Elementary Faith Formation (Grades 1-5) is offered on either Tuesday or Wednesday afternoons from 4-5:15 p.m. Please note, there is a two year preparation requirement for First Eucharist, regarldess of the age a student starts preparation.
PREPARATION FOR FIRST EUCHARIST AND RECONCILIATION
Children over the age of seven, who have already been baptized, may take the next step in the Initiation process, accompanied by their families, and prepare for First Eucharist. Typically, the children are enrolled in the parish Elementary Faith Formation program beginning in 1st grade. During the student's second year (regardless of starting age, children must spend two years in preparation) First Eucharist is celebrated during the Easter season.
For older children (ages 7-14) who need preparation for the sacraments of Baptism and/or Eucharist and Reconciliation, we offer special
RCIA Adapted for Children
classes as part of our faith formation program.
